They are seeking an Lean Practitioner with an interest in Aerospace Engineer based in Dorset on a permanent basis. You will drive operational improvement and best practice process through SOF, Lean and Six Sigma tools and training.

    This organisation are a market leader within the Aerospace Engineering environment. They are seeking experienced Quality Engineer to be based in Wimborne, Dorset on a contract basis. You will be supporting a large Air to Air Refuelling tanker programme and require Quality Engineers who ideally have experience of working with major aircraft manufactures.
    Day to day duties will include but not limited to:
    ·Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on aerospace equipment onsite at the factory in Wimborne or at the equipment supplier's site to AS9102 (ideally AS 9102B).
    ·Execution of internal audit program in order to ensure adherence to EN 9100, EN9110, EASA Part 21 (G) and Part 145 and associated customer approvals.
    ·Drive product and process non-conformance investigations and associated root cause analysis activities including concession management
    ·Provide support and assistance to suppliers in the development and completion of corrective actions
    ·Manage and host customer audits and source inspection activities
    When applying for this role it is essential that you hold the following skills and qualifications;
    ·Experience operating as a Quality Engineer in EASA Part-21(G) & EASA Part-145 environments. Background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques
    ·Aerospace experience with knowledge of AS9100 / AS9102
    ·Root cause analysis and corrective action experience, including use of lean tools such as 8D.

You will be establishing and developing a supplier approval system, conduction audits and driving root cause analysis for increased supplier capability.
    Day to day duties will include but not limited to:
    ·Ensure quality assurance for new and existing suppliers, through audits, source and sign off inspections and change control process management.
    ·Develop supplier relationships to support improvement plans, quality and costs.
