    Are you a Project or Certification Engineer with experience of developing and certifying helicopters to CS27 or CS29?

    KDC is working on an exciting overseas opportunity to support the development of a brand new aerospace product to ensure Part-21J compliance

    You will be:
    • Defining product level requirements within the design organisation
    • Coordinating and managing all technical initiatives for the aircraft system, from concept design through production and entry into service
    • Responsible for the end-end technical oversight of a program
    • Providing guidance and support to a team of engineering professionals
    • Developing and performing overall technical planning and providing airworthiness verification support, i.e. management of design and/or technical airworthiness reviews
    • Helping to resolve technical problems that would affect cost, schedule and aircraft system performance
    • Working closely with engineering technical areas and other subject matter experts for the review and approval of engineering design solutions
    • Providing coordination across the multi-disciplinary team
    • Supporting the development of technical and product roadmaps

    KDC are currently supporting a global aerospace company in the search for a Project Controller with a background and understanding of Landing Gear.

    This opportunity will also allow you to further your skill set and knowledge in the following areas:

    • Support the development of overall Landing Gear DOA management activity
    • Develop robust methods and means for undertaking value added technical surveillance within Landing Gear.
    • Manage the capture and update any DOA lessons learned from ongoing surveillance.
    • Assist in production and management of the Landing Gear DOA Score Card
    • Develop a process for capture and management of Landing Gear DOA issues. This activity would also require the generation of a database for controlling the status of each issue
    • Plan, organize and prepare regular Landing Gear DOA management meetings
    • Preparation of Meeting Minutes and coordination / management of resulting actions following meetings ensuring momentum is maintained between meetings.
    • Assist in the continuous improvement of the DOA operational meetings ensuring their effectiveness.

    The ideal person for this role will have the following skill set:

    • Project Management experience including Stakeholder Management skills
    • Excellent Organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Experience of continuous improvement, collaborative working, networking and influencing.

    PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Relevant engineering/manufacturing/chemistry qualification and/or equivalent experience
