    • Develop the most cost effective and efficient solutions that satisfy design to cost and design for manufacture best practice.
    • Specify material requirements, define suitable methods of manufacture and identify and implement tooling and equipment.
    • Creation of test specifications and manufacture of composite and polymer test samples.

    • Relevant engineering/manufacturing/chemistry qualification and/or equivalent experience
    • Specific experience of composite & polymer materials and materials/component processing

    KDC are working with a global client that specialise in construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
    This particular facility is dedicated to the world-wide design and manufacturing centre of Articulated Truck product line with more than 90% of production exported to markets across the globe.
    They have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Systems Configuration Engineer to join their team. This role will primarily be focused on new vehicle development and you will have responsibility for the vehicle bill of materials and structure.
    The day to day duties of this role will involve:
    ·Complete virtual design reviews of all new releases
    ·Perform machine level CREO and VizView Audits in support of Safety and Serviceability
    ·Maintain the vehicle level weight and weight distribution; fuel and fluid volumes; test specifications; shipping data and general arrangements

    KDC Resource are working with a leading OEM who are seeking an Industrialisation Manager to join their team in Portsmouth.

    Due to the current and forthcoming high workload, the aim is the production of flight equipment's within the Manufacturing Cleanroom and to increase the Production managers within the area.

    The role

    ·Deliver Industrial work packages on time, on quality, on cost. Responsible for managing Work To List, SQCDP, labour & material budgets, and cost of non-quality (CONQ).
    ·Responsible for R&D (automating production) and qualification work packages.
    ·Interface with the shop floor, and optimise resources, facilities and manpower availability in order to meet overall production planning.
    ·Define and update the global planning, taking into account different projects running in parallel with respect to given priorities.

This company is the main supplier of large composite Aero-structures to Airbus and Boeing and they are looking for Senior Business Development professionals to come on-board and join their rapidly expanding business.

    As a minimum we are looking for Business Development professionals who have at least 5 years of experience working within an Aerospace manufacturing environment. This facility will contain current and future projects for Airbus and Boeing and a big part of your role will be to bring in new Business to fully populate this new facility.

  • Senior Inspector

    The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to producing top quality work every time. This individual should be self-sufficient and responsible for all technical guidance in all aspects of inspection. With a commitment toward process improvement of department activities. You will need strong technical knowledge, as well as effective problem solving, communication and leadership skills. Experience in a similar position is preferable although not necessary. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of basic quality functions, Inspection/engineering studies and PPAP and be fully experienced with using manual and auto CMM Machines, as well as having extensive experience working to strict quality standards.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    ·Inspection to drawing / component definition, procedures and customer specifications.
    ·Goods inward inspection.
    ·Interpret customer specifications and design/implement an effective quality program.

    ·Production floor experience in defect reduction and process improvement.
    ·Proficient IT skills including MS-Office (primarily, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
    ·Proficient using various inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators.
