KDC are sourcing an Environmental Test Manager within the Space Environment. The test facilities offer a plethora of testing solutions ranging from Vibration, Thermal Vacuum, Climatic, Shock, High Power & RF, and electrical testing.
Job Summary
As the manager of the testing facilities the role includes, but is not limited to planning and promoting the daily schedule of employees and the business, drive recruitment to meet business requirements thus to develop and man manage a world class testing team, manage internal and external customer relations, create and maintain budgets including large capital investment - and co-ordinate with and report to senior management within the company.
Skills/Experience Required
ESSENTIAL:
•Bachelor's degree or HND with relevant experience (e.g. 5 years in production environment) in Manufacturing or Production discipline.
•Significant (e.g.5 years) Experience in Assembly / Production environment.
•Minimum of 2 years Management, project management or Team leading experience.
•Experience of Lean implementation / culture, Quality environment, Experience of MRP, Scheduling experience, Cost Management, being able to be analytic People Management and leadership, Procedures and process experience.
•Problem solving, Health & Safety, Budget Handling & Team Leading.
DESIRABLE:
•Clean room experience
•Security clearance to SC level
