Job Description
The position will include on the job training to enable contributions across both Mechanical and Electromechanical design.
Tasking will include:
·To assist with embodiment of design changes, new drawings and associated documentation
·To assist in the compilation of all design documentation associated with showing compliance with customer Procedures and/or regulatory requirements
·Provide design input to and attend technical reviews/meetings
·Under the supervision of a Lead Design Engineer, provide clear communication with Project managers on the status of projects and ensure that problems impacting the design element are notified accordingly
·To assist, and liaise with KDC and the client on all design issues relating to airworthiness requirements
·To assist in ensuring that tasks set are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner
·To work effectively as a key member in a team environment
Design Projects may include:
·Concept design
·Product modifications/design
·Test fixtures and fittings
·Harnesses and cabling
·Wiring diagrams
·PCB Design
Design tools may include:
·Pro - Engineer / Creo
·Catia V5
·Solid Edge
·Solid Works
