Job Description

This organisation are a market leader within the Aerospace Engineering environment. They are seeking an Lean Practitioner with an interest in Aerospace Engineer based in Dorset on a permanent basis. You will drive operational improvement and best practice process through SOF, Lean and Six Sigma tools and training.
As an experienced Lean Practitioner you will hold the following skills and qualifications;
•Cert Black Belt in LEAN
•Demonstrate experience in leading cross functional teams
•Previous experience of working within a large complex organisation.
•SIA & KAIZEN
•Depth of experience in driving change
•SOF experience across all disciplines
•Able to influence and solicit buy-in from a wide range of Operations and stakeholders
•Train, mentor and coach individuals on tool use and CI objectives
Day to day duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Understand strategic plan deployment and current state and desired future state KPI's for the business and wok to formulate improvement plans
•Establish project charters for performance enhancing improvement projects
•Drive the agreed improvements through a series of tactical implementation plans
•Maintain a high level of competence among the operations resources, facilitate standard operating frameworks that support delivery improvement and problem solving through training.
•Drive the effective use of RCPS
•Support continuous improvement initiatives, audit and accreditation process
•Actively participate with the organisations continuous improvement community.
