Within the Engineering Landing Gear (EL) Business operations you will be responsible for the Performance Management components of the Landing Gear Operational Management System; including enhancing management reporting, information flow and effective decision making.
You will support the Faculty and Training Manager with training development and deployment activities within the centre including the promotion of alternative learning solutions.
Main activities & Responsibilities
Performance Management System:
·Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of Landing Gear's Objectives Cascade Process.
·Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of EL's functional Risk & Opportunity Management Process ensuring compliance with Organisation's Engineering Risk & Opportunity Management Plan.
·Support the implementation of the Operational Performance Management in Landing Gear.
·Monitor the uptake of training in landing gear using KPIs; identify, promote and advertise relevant training to the landing gear population. Troubleshoot issues with deployment of training and support accordingly.
·Maintain and develop learning path for landing gear and support the implementation in the Learning Path Advisor tool.
·Project manage the development of new training modules working with specialists and experts to create new training materials in alignment with the organisations learning development process and budgets.
·Facilitate and support the Discipline Technical Leads to establish technical networks and promote knowledge transfer in the centre including the LG lecture programme.
·Assist in describing and promoting a range of alternative learning solutions (in addition to formalized training) that support the resource and competence needs in the centre.
·Project & Performance Management expertise
·Experience in Risk & Opportunity Management
·Business analytical skills and problem solving
·Experience of continuous improvement, collaborative working, networking and influencing will be an essential part of the role.
·Knowledge of Instructional design for the development of new learning / training material
