Job Description

KDC Resource are working with an organisation in the Aerospace Industry that are looking for a Quality Control Inspector for a short term of one month but with the potential of being on-going. This is a position with immediate start.
The Quality Control Inspector provides quality inspection of aerospace components in order to meet the critical standards required for Customers.
·Inspection of detailed parts in accordance with design data
·Perform product Stage Inspections and Final inspections
·First Article Inspection Reports (VISUAL FAIR and/or AS9102) and prepare documentation packs
·Maintenance of supplier and reject logs
·Data entry and administration
·Good Inwards Inspection
·Raising non-conformance reports (NCR's) and completing 5-Why root cause analysis, investigations and related corrective actions
·Use of calibrated measuring equipment
·Support all relevant functions, promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team
·Completion of any work related tasks, which would be deemed reasonable of this role
·Previous experience in Aerospace/Automotive environment preferred
·Previous experience within ISO9001, AS9100 approved organisations
·Recognised qualifications or experience in Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
·Working knowledge of CMM, in particular, Faro Arm training and experience preferred
·Must be task/achievement focussed
·Good practical skills with a high level of manual dexterity
·Good concentration levels, attention to detail and methodical approach
·The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records
·Computer literate, Windows based - good oral and written skills
·A good team player with a flexible attitude to work load
·A safety-conscious approach to work
·Must be reliable, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
