Job Description

We are now recruiting for a new Scheduling Coordinator to join our client's busy team at their Bournemouth office. If your looking for a new opportunity and are keen to join one of the leading companies in their field in the Aerospace industry, then this could be the role for you.
Whilst working here your responsibilities will include:
•Ensure commitment acceptance on all new programmes and major spares enquiries through a Sales and Operations review and in response to general enquiries.
•All schedules fully represent the customer and business requirements and that schedule integrity is maintained and improved throughout the supply chain.
•To fully understand and communicate the inventory implications of schedules and to ensure inventory planning is carried out by all businesses.
•To overview the load / capacity implications of schedules and to ensure capacity planning is carried out by the business.
•To ensure that the static systems data is correct and accurate and reflects the customer and business requirements.
•To continually develop the sales, planning and scheduling processes and its application in the business.
There will be the chance to expand your skills in:
•IT, in particular Microsoft Excel
•Understanding and experience of MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
•An awareness of lean manufacturing techniques
•Knowledge of demand and production planning
•An appreciation of physical logistics
•Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•Takes responsibility for their own development
•Knowledge of Microsoft Power Business Intelligence
