Space Comm is the UK's largest space event at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre. 

The event is a great chance to:

Specific themes in this year’s programme include the commercialisation of space, sustainability, collaboration, investment, and defence. Touching on these points will be some of the event’s keynote speakers, including Dr Paul Bate, the CEO of the UK Space Agency and Dr Joanna Hart, Director of Space Partnership.

Another major topic will be funding and industry growth. Figures show a 4% year-on-year increase in UK space companies and a growth rate of 21% in private space companies. At the end of 2023, the UK government announced £10 million in funding for the UK space sector over the coming decade.

In short, there will likely be informed discussions about what these statistics mean and what this funding could do for the British space sector.

Space-Comm Expo 2024 is on track to be a great couple of days. The main themes promise to be engaging, and there are always interesting conversations to be had with exhibitors.
