Over the last year I have focused mainly on finding Aerospace Engineers to become Expatriates in the UAE. But why have I focused my energy on this?

To get to the point, I’m going to give you some background on the nation, but I promise to keep it brief!

Since the UAE have struck oil in 1950 they have been a rich and thriving nation. Following this a few companies were formed to realize the vision of the founding father of the United Arab Emirates -- the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nayhan. Central to his vision, was the growth and development of the economy, which lays the foundation of a thriving nation.

From the Sovereign wealth fund, a few companies were born to continue this vision for years to come. One important company name to remember is Mubadala. (I’m trying to avoid making this sound like a low budget movie, but it’s not really working.)

Mubadala is a government investment company with a focus on investing in sustainable and profitable industries, a couple of which tie into exactly where KDC Group works; Aerospace and Defence. To give you an idea of how big Mubadala actually are, their turnover for the first half of 2017 was 17.14 Billion Pounds. (Suddenly a high budget movie.)

Now why do you want to know this?  My client in the UAE currently operate out of a large manufacturing facility and have big plans backed by Mubadala. They currently supply the world’s biggest Aerospace Companies with Composite parts and they are looking to at least double their current capability by 2019.

I am looking for Composite Engineering professionals in abundance, from Manufacturing Engineers, through Quality Engineers, Supply Chain and Senior Operations roles.
