KDC are currently hiring for an accounts senior! We are a local, fast-paced Engineering and Recruitment business and we are hiring across the business in anticipation for a busy year ahead.
Working for the operational and back-office team, the person will work closely with the Finance Director and Junior Management Accountant and have one direct report.
This is a hands-on role which will have responsibility for all bookkeeping activity on multiple companies including weekly payments to the company's contractor base along with assisting in the preparation of Management Information. KDC use both Microsoft NAV and Xero (previous experience of Sage would be helpful).
The ideal person would be looking for a role that will expand on their current Accounts experience and provide an opportunity to develop and work towards a professional accountancy qualification. It is anticipated that applicants will be either AAT qualified (or close to completing) or will have commenced ACCA/CIMA.
Using your initiative will be a key competency. This role has to juggle competing demands and changing priorities, occasionally to tight timescales.

AAT qualified (or close to completing) or will have commenced ACCA/CIMA
