Our client is seeking to employ an experienced and motivated AIT Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) Support Engineer for a position at their facility based in Harwell, UK. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing company seeking to make a positive contribution to the growing problem of orbital debris that endangers mankind’s continued use of space as an asset. This role will allow the right candidate to shape AIT solutions for our missions and contribute the growth of the AIT team. Primary focus will be the ELSA-M In-Orbit Demonstration mission and opportunities exit to develop solutions to multi-spacecraft manufacture. The AIT EGSE Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the commissioning of the EGSE for spacecraft level testing. They will also be involved in spacecraft ground test operations. Whilst the candidate will primarily work in the UK, they will interact extensively with a larger team in the client’s Japan office and may expect to be required to travel to Tokyo as needed in support of the client’s projects and operations.
