This company is ever growing and is now looking for you to join their team.
As a Buyer you will support the Supply Chain Manager by expediting and buying products and services. You will also be part of a team whose focus is to ensure that all materials, parts, spares and other associated components are procured for the business in a timely and effective manner so that every area of the business works efficiently.
Task that you will be working on:
•Identifying suppliers and raise Supplier Request for Quotations (RFQ's)
•Raising Purchase Orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
•Undertake New Build, Sales Order & Project related Procurement.
•Work with the wider team to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and reduce lead times.
•Identifying and monitoring Obsolescence issues.

•Proficient in MS Suite
•Ability to multi-task and manage priorities to meet multiple deadlines

•Reliable, pro-active and self-confident.
•Understanding of the aviation industry and or basic engineering processes are desirable
Qualifications:
•5 GCSE grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
•Degree in business, economics, relevant subject or similar level of education is desirable
•CIPS or working towards is desirable
