Job Description

Are you an Electronics Engineer with experience of being responsible for specifying, developing, manufacturing and testing of cutting-edge electronic systems for spacecrafts? Are you looking for a progressive role in a satellite start-up company that has received $65m financing to date? Do you want to work with a team of experts from 25 countries across the world in building a large satellite constellation? Our client is looking for this candidate to be based in Finland where you will get the chance to work in many areas of electronics including: power electronics, high speed digital systems, control electronics, batteries and solar panels. You will work closely with their software, FPGA and radio engineers.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable
• 2+ years of experience in designing for electrical power systems or embedded control systems

Preferred skills and experience:
• 2+ years of experience in designing multilayer PCBs, both schematics and layout
• Knowledge of circuit simulation tools like LTspice and Hyperlynx
• Good understanding of design techniques for high speed digital circuits
• Basic programming knowledge C/C++, python or similar language
• Basic knowledge of FPGA design techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
• Agile approach to designing electronics. Multiple fast prototyping cycle
