Job Description

Due to rapid expansion, KDC are looking for highly skilled FEM Engineers to come on board their team. The group you will join work across a variety of stress analysis projects on the Airbus flagship programme the A350XWB.
These are permanent positions and for successful candidates, KDC can offer a supportive and flexible environment. There will be potential to progress your career with potential routes to gaining signatory and team lead positions.

The role will offer the opportunity to develop your skills across different wing areas such as, wingtip, leading edge, trailing edge, spar and ribs across the following areas.

·Checks of verification of FEM activity to Airbus Procedure
·Checking verification reports to Airbus procedures
·General FEM tasks such as model creation, model interrogation, updates, and reruns for additional input or output may be necessary, but it is expected that a majority of the task is in checking models created elsewhere.

Candidate's will need to have a number of the following skills and will get the opportunity to develop the full skillset below.

·Minimum of 5 years Aircraft Structures experience
·3 years' experience in Finite Element Modelling (FEM) gained within the Airbus supply chain
·High levels of experience are required in the following - Nastran, Patran and Hypermesh
