KDC are currently recruiting for an exciting graduate program within one of their key clients. The graduate role will offer the opportunity to work within a providing Engineering solutions and support for new and existing projects, proactively taking ownership, ensuring that designs are technically sound, and requirements and regulations are met.

The Graduate Program will offer the opportunity to develop hands on industry experience in the following areas.

1.Design and optimisation of Assemblies and related mechanical systems for high-precision applications.
2.Analysis of mechanical systems using tools including FEA and CFD for structural, thermal, fatigue and associated attributes.
3.Develop design proposals in response to both customer led and internally generated projects.
4.Create conceptual design schemes, schematics, and technical drawing.
5.Work within a team to resolve technical issues and provide technical information, taking the lead where necessary.
6.Manage projects in accordance with the existing NPI process, ensuring the feasibility, cost, maintenance, and commercial viability requirements of designs are considered at all times.
7.Support the development stage of projects, taking ownership of the design aspects and Interfacing with the Operations and Quality teams to ensure designs are fit for manufacture and assembly.

Candidate will need to have the following skills and experience.

• B.Eng In Mechanical Engineering or Similar

• Strong 3D CAD experience with CATIA, Solidworks, Pro - Engineer, Creo, Solidedge or Similar.

• FEA Analysis Skills

• CFD Analysis Skills
