Head of Strategy & Technology Management
KDC are looking for a Head of Strategy that has experience in Proposals for ESA. Working with our client will give you the opportunity to work on exciting state-of-the-art space projects.

Key responsibilities:
  • Look for business opportunities in the space industry, to map ongoing industrial activities, and to respond to open RFI/RFP calls.
  • The department is also responsible for the management of customer relations, partners, and other key stakeholders such as ESA technical and contract officers, ministries, and governmental institutions
What you’ll do
  • Definition of the product & technology roadmap for the Company
  • Identification of key R&D opportunities
  • Maintaining on-going technology developments roadmap
  • Responding on open R&D calls and developing own ideas for proposals
  • Coordinating technology developments across multiple technical domains and leading R&D activities
  • Pre-planning, consortia forming, RFI/RFP proposal preparation, contract negotiation
  • Establishment, maintenance and optimization of company processes related to the departmental activities
  • Leading the Strategy & Technology Management department towards a common vision and execution of related tasks (resource planning, mentoring and supervision of team members, continuous improvement, performance management, talent development, setting up departmental vision and goals)
  • Support of Business Development activities
What you’ll need
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role in the space industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in preparation of industrial proposals (RFI/RFP responses)
  • Independence and self-motivation
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Work in the fascinating field of space industry
