Coming from an engineering/manufacturing or chemicals background with specific experience
In both composite and polymer materials. You'll be comfortable with 3D model based definition (ideally CATIA V5) and will have strong problem solving capabilities.
Degree qualified (or with equivalent training) you'll be able to confidently specify material requirements, define suitable methods of manufacture and implement tooling and equipment.
About the Role
This is a permanent role. Work takes place in both the factory and the office, travel requirements are minimal. You'll report to the CHIEF ENGINEER but you will be trusted to work autonomously on a range of manufacturing engineering support tasks. Additionally, you will have responsibility for technical communications with customers and vendors.
Key requirements of the role include the provision of manufacturing information sheets, route cards, bill of materials and manufacturing specification data. Efficiency and precision are essential as you will also be responsible for developing cost effective and efficient solutions that satisfy stringent design requirements.
