Job Description

Are you a Programme Manager looking for a progressive role in a global company? Do you have experience in the space sector providing programme & project management on civil and military space programmes? Do you have strong leadership skills to execute the development and delivery of a record breaking, state of the art project? KDC are working on this position that could offer you a challenging 6 month contract on a major, complex and technically innovative project.

-To develop and implement project plans and manage multi-disciplinary / multi-national teams, budget, schedule and risks required to scope the integration of the RFCS design into HAPS.
-To deliver mandated project reviews and reporting in accordance with Business processes.
-To implement Risk and Opportunity management in accordance with Project Management processes
-Make sure risks are proactively identified and mitigated and that contingency plans are implemented.
-Take total accountability for on-time, on-quality delivery of complex, innovative and technically challenging equipment's on a cutting-edge, pioneering development programme.
-Manage a range of international suppliers with an intimate knowledge of the suppliers' operational processes, strengths and weaknesses.

-Experience of UAS or Space system solution architectures.
-Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials, structural loading calculations in the context of aerodynamic forces and aeroelastic behaviour over a large flight envelope, structural component test methods, qualification and acceptance test criteria;
-Knowledge of electronic system design, software delivery process and acceptance test and qualification criteria;
-Willingness to travel
-Problem-solving mind-set, can do attitude and creativity, not reporting issues but achieving rapid resolution
-Advanced level of Microsoft Project proficiency
