Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Propulsion Engineer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of advanced propulsion systems for aerospace applications.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Lead the design and development of propulsion systems, including liquid, solid, and hybrid rocket engines.
Perform detailed analysis and simulations to optimize propulsion system performance.
Oversee and conduct testing of propulsion systems, including static and dynamic tests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems into overall vehicle designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to propulsion systems.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in propulsion design and analysis.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in propulsion system design and development.
Proficiency in propulsion system analysis tools and software.
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and combustion processes.
Experience with rocket engine testing and data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
 
Ph.D. in a relevant field.
Experience with electric propulsion systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in propulsion systems.
