You will be a core member of the Quality Engineering team and will be expected to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on aerospace equipment. You will be able to compile Build Packs where you will pull together relevant documentation (Up to 15 pieces per pack), reviewing and checking for any potential issues and errors. This will also include supporting and assisting in the development and completion of corrective actions with the internal team. Also meeting legal and regulatory requirements will be essential and able to maintain a good professional communication and working relationships with the quality teams.
You will have extensive experience of performing FAI inspections and have proven experience of performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). You will be self-motivated and well organised with the ability to work to defined timescales and deadlines. You will be a strong problem solver always thinking ahead with the ability to see potential problems in advance with great analytical skills. Possession of a relevant degree or technical qualification with relevant experience is essential with Working knowledge of Aerospace standards ISO91001, AS9100, AS 9102, EASA Part 21 & EASA Part 145).
To be successful you will be working with ITAR material and will need to be already security cleared and be able to work effectively in a team or independently. The role will initially be 6 months with the opportunity to extend beyond this.
Salary will sit within £30-£35 per hour.
