Overview:
The Integration & Test team at CMS is responsible for a number of activities:
• Hardware & Software Integration
• Development of test infrastructures, both Hardware & Software.
Day to day responsibilities:
The roles involve developing test software and hardware, developing tests, running tests and analysing test results.
Hardware & Software integration testing is performed using released software builds running on production representative hardware. The tests are written in TestStand and run on in-house development test equipment.
The items under test are avionics hardware and embedded software and hence experience of avionics interfaces (e.g. ARINC, 1553, CANBUS) is advantageous. All software (including test equipment) is developed to DO-178B standards.
Required skills & experience:
Software test will be running on Teststand and Labview, so experience of these products is essential
Software Requirement Testing experience required.
Hardware and Software integration testing.
Should have experience working on safety critical software.

All candidates are expected to have the following:
• A proven background in testing using a formal process.
• Attention to detail & a methodical approach
• Experience in a laboratory environment and use of equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, emulators etc.
• General PC skills, in particular Word, Excel etc.
• A good understanding of hardware.
