Job Description

As a System Safety Engineer, you will be carrying out a wide range of Safety Engineering activities across a variety of Defence Projects.

Essential:

• Knowledge of Def Stan 00-56
• Experience in the production and maintenance of Safety Case Reports and Safety Management Plans
• Experience writing Part 3 Safety Case Reports
• Good understanding of Systems Engineering principles
• Knowledge of ASEMS / POSMS / POEMS
• Experience working with IEC 61508
• Hazard Log management (Cassandra)
• Experience working on complex Defence projects

Desirable

• Requirements management
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering
• Understanding / experience working with DEF STAN 07-85
• Electronics Engineering experience

Qualifications and skills:

• Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects
