Job Description
The System Engineer will work as a Validation and Verification (V&V) Specialist for ATA 26 (Fire Protection System - FPS). This includes all FPS system design aspects and interfaces within the FPS team and all other engineering teams; as well as interfacing with the FPS component suppliers in order to achieve the correctness and completeness necessary for FPS certification in the program
Scope of Work:
Basic work scope is to provide technical assistance to the development and certification of the program, focusing primarily on leading V&V activities within the FPS engineering department
Work Experience and Skillset:
• Having the necessary technical background and competence in the system design as defined in this SOW scope
• Having over 5 years of experience for the designated system design area
• Having firm understanding and experience working with data base managements systems including DOORS
• Be prepared to work as a team member in a multi-cultural and international working environment at the Headquarter based in Japan
• The engineer must be able to utilize interpersonal and communication techniques, working in a team environment as well as identifying potential issues with the ability to plan and implement short and long term goals in aircraft development
The work activities include:
• Lead DOORS modules structure establishment and modifications
• Act as design and strategy V&V focal
• Lead incorporation of supporting evidences into DOORS
• Support DOORS modules structure such as linkage strategy, report generation and completeness
• Support Subsystem Engineers (requirement owners) in regards to DOORS at Equipment and System Levels
• Ensure integration of FPS DOORS modules with:
oAircraft Requirements
oSupplier Requirements / Specification / Drawings, etc.
oSafety Requirements
