    As a Recruitment Consultant at KDC you will be responsible for finding exceptional Talent for our clients. In return they pay us money, fairly simple.     There is a shortage of Engineers and Technology professionals, but our clients require more and more of them. This is why we exist! You will be expected to find new candidates for our clients by using your initiative to call, message, email, send smoke signals, stalk, or even plain old meet potential candidates to tell them all the brilliant opportunities we have on offer.     The Fit:
    KDC Resource is aged between 7 and 10 years old depending on what you count but we still very much see ourselves in start-up mode with an all hands on deck approach.     The Experience:
    Ideally you will have spent at least 1 year as a recruiter (in-house or agency, we don't discriminate) as recruitment industry knowledge will really help you. If you don't have it, don't despair! While recruitment experience would help you, we can definitely teach you all about it, however we really need you to have at least 1 year of sales experience.

    The Salary:
    Salary is negotiable but just by meeting your target each month, you'll be taking home around £40kpa, but commission is un-capped. Earn as much as you can! Your benefits will include (as mentioned above) an iPhone, 25 days holiday, quarterly sales prizes, plus all the normal pensions stuff.

    Within the organisations Group General Procurement (GP), the jobholder will be performing strategic procurement activities within the sub-commodity Facility Management and Site Services (PJMS), with trans-national and trans-divisional approach taking into account the organisations Group General Procurement perimeter.


    ·Drive compliant Group General Procurement processes in the framework of the activity scope of sub-commodity for the Organisations Group General Procurement perimeter, mainly focusing on procurement of subcontracted activities.
    ·Manage and lead MFT members within the framework of national, trans-national, divisional and/or trans-divisional procurement projects (e.g. Call for Tenders, Requests for Information), contribute to the control, standardisation and bundling of the demand, challenge and approve the specifications, run the suppliers selection processes.
    ·Evolve and influence the supplier market, the business, and the internal customer to move toward Total Cost of Ownership models and solutions.

    Scope of Work:
    • Lead a team of 50+ Interiors Engineers and Certification specialist to navigate through the Design, Test and Certification process for aircraft.
    • Promote and ensure personnel performance from the Seattle Office, while influencing the Nagoya Team performance where practical.
    • Manage team objectives and Goal setting, and adopt and support company Performance Measurement tools when available.
    • Promote and ensure team integration in Seattle office and with other IPT's.
    • Drive and promote Integration activities between Nagoya and Seattle teams.
    • Remove roadblocks and provide solutions to both technical and managerial challenges.
    • Ensure company processes are followed. Champion tool and process improvements to increase team efficiency where necessary.
    • Support task prioritization and achieving deliverables. Provide adequate distribution of workload to ensure projects are completed timely.
    • Communicate and Escalate to Seattle/Nagoya Leadership as appropriate.

    Provide Technical direction to the Team to enable development and finalize design, compliant to all applicable requirements. This activity includes, but not limited to:
    • Evaluating the current aircraft design, with respect to compliance to the Interiors commodities and related airworthiness regulations of JCAB, FAA and EASA.
    • Conduct design review of interior components,
    • Coordinate with system suppliers for the design, certification, and development schedule.
    • Create and/or review Qualification test plans for Interiors Commodities.
    • Review Certification plan for Interiors Commodities,
    • Managing schedule of design and certification activities for Interior Commodities, with related personnel.

    Min 15 years Engineering Experience with at least 10years in the Aerospace/Aircraft industry, with high preference for Commercial Aircraft Cabin Interiors.
    Equipment Qualification and Cabin Certification experience mandatory.
    Demonstrated people leadership experience, managing teams of 50+. Ability for focus on key deliverables and find solutions to problems, and while guiding the team forward.
    Must be culturally sensitive, with preference of previous working experience within a Japanese working environment.
    Experience managing Aerospace Supply Chains under pressure and hitting tight deadlines, with exposure to commercial negotiations and contracts preferred.
    Must be flexible with working hours to support Japanese working time zone.
    Ability to work and reside full time in Seattle, USA mandatory.

    The role

    The OS / LEAN Change agent will support the OS Leader in implementing the OS / LEAN strategy, this will include the business area Value Stream Map and the improvement plans.
    The successful candidate will have the ability, respect and resilience to be able to drive and implement change within a multi-skilled team, even when the business area is faced with the demanding & challenges of today.


    To be a member of the central OS / LEAN team providing expert knowledge and guidance on the process of transforming the specific area value stream.
    Successful candidates should have a high level of technical expertise in OS / Lean in order to deploy / coach on all OS / LEAN bricks with a particular focus on PSE.
    Ability to interface and influence people at all levels, excellent communication skills, high level of team working, adherence to standards, highly analytical coupled with practical skills, able to apply flexibility, imagination and creativity to problem solving with drive and enthusiasm.


    ·Provide support in establishing the vision and business route map to deliver a sustainable performance improvement throughout the business unit.

    ·Ensures through Process Confirmation and structured feedback that the OS / LEAN maturity standards are applied throughout the business area.
    ·Drive DOVC vision & mission, lead by example for lean implementation and drive business training & development to ensure stability for lean improvements

    Key Operational Challenges

    ·Supporting the engagement of DO Improvement Project Leaders and the monitoring of savings/improvements
    ·Providing general project support and coordination using DOVC standards to ensure a successful project deployment
