    KDC are currently working with a leader manufacturer of composite materials for the defence industry, who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support on the development of composite materials.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide Manufacturing Information Sheets, route cards, bill of materials and manufacturing specification data in accordance with company standards.
    • Develop the most cost effective and efficient solutions that satisfy design to cost and design for manufacture best practice.
    • Specify material requirements, define suitable methods of manufacture and identify and implement tooling and equipment.
    • Creation of test specifications and manufacture of composite and polymer test samples.


    PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Relevant engineering/manufacturing/chemistry qualification and/or equivalent experience
    • Specific experience of composite & polymer materials and materials/component processing
    • Computer literate, windows based and 3D model-based definition (CATIA v5 preferred)

    KDC Resource are working with a leading OEM who are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Newport!
    The role will require candidates with a good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies with experience of working with virtualisation platforms such as VMware and Hypervisor, and an ability to build accreditable infrastructures. The position requires a minimum of +3 years' experience within a similar role preferably working in secure environment such as MOD/GOV/NATO.

    Key Responsibilities

    The IE will need to leverage their practical knowledge in implementing Microsoft technologies and virtualisation techniques to implement tasks against a work breakdown structure, for either individual standalone projects or elements of a bigger programme. The role is varied and demanding and will be a very good learning experience for people who are looking for career progression to a more senior role.
    The successful candidate must be proactive, diligent with a strong technical ability, and they must have skills in both presentation and customer relations both at a technical and non-technical level. The role includes primarily hands-on implementation tasks, with some design work in support of the other network engineering staff.     The current projects will require an awareness of operating infrastructure services in a secured environment and an understanding of enabling security lockdown and controls to allow system accreditation.

    Experience

    ·Proven experience of development of prototype secure solution within a multi-disciplined team whilst providing operational (day-to-day) support.
    ·Proven experience of working with product vendors to optimize a solution from a technical axis.
    ·Working knowledge of JSP's , Cabinet Office Technical Design Documents, CESG GPG's, NATO STANAGs
    ·Proven experience working within at least 1of the following customers environments UK MOD, NATO and Central Government
